Richard otogboro popularly
known as simply rich is an Afro hip hop artist who is on a mission to
elevate the status of the African hip hop scene.with underground smash
hits such as chop chop, follow the leader feat mall eke and Emiliano ,
the songs rocked the airwaves In 2009. This articulate artist displays a
non challant vibe and smooth delivery that makes music making seem
easy. He recently irked a deal with DEEP END ENTERTAINMENT and together
with the label he is out with a remake of Sir Victor Uwaifo MAMI WATER.
Simply-Rich was born in the
early 80s, a native of Isoko in Delta state. a graduate from ‘the
University of Benin’, Benin City Edo state Nigeria. With a ND in social
works and a Bsc in sociology/anthropology. Before venturing into music,
Simply-Rich has been involved with various shows across Nigeria in the
past. Though MAMI WATER is a new song, it’s currently gaining ground and
founding its way to the lips of many faithfuls in Nigeria. Within a
short while the artiste has already started pulling some strings. And
also gradually turning into a force to reckon with, in the entertainment
circle.
